Skills for Victoria’s
Growing Economy
Review update
Submissions closed on Sunday 5th July following extensive public consultation between April and June.
The Chair and Secretariat are in the process of reviewing submissions and developing recommendations for the Final Report which will be provided to Government in October.
The Review team is grateful to students, teachers, VET providers and other stakeholders for being so forthcoming with their feedback and contributions throughout the consultation period.
In November 2019 the Victorian Government appointed Jenny Macklin to Chair an independent review of Victoria’s post-secondary education and training system. This is because post-secondary education and training – including TAFE, universities, Learn Local, registered training organisations and dual-sector universities – is vital to our State’s future prosperity.
